What is Hash House Harriers?
A Drinking Club with a Running Problem
Hash House Harriers is a global social running club. We follow trails marked by our "hares" through urban and wild terrain. The twist? Beer stops, silly songs, and vampire costumes are mandatory in Brașov!
No experience needed. Just show up ready to run, laugh, and howl at the moon.

Running in Dracula's backyard demands appropriate attire. Our Day of the Dead themed runs embrace Transylvania's legendary vampire traditions. Think capes, fangs, and gothic flair as we trail through ancient forests .

Our Running Territory
Carpathian Mountain Trails
Brașov sits at the foot of spectacular peaks. Our trails wind through ancient forests, medieval ruins, and mountain meadows. Each run offers new terrain and breathtaking views.
Routes range from 3-8 km. Elevation varies but the scenery always delivers. Local hares know secret paths tourists never see.

Day of the day mega-run, Winter Solstice night trail, and Summer Vampire Festival. Costume contests with beer prizes for best dressed bloodsuckers.

Post-run circles feature songs, toasts, and storytelling. Monthly pub meetups for planning and socializing beyond the trails.

Meet-Up Details
Location varies each year. Check with us three weeks before the run. We meet in central Brașov, near Council Square or other landmarks.
